RWTH Aachen - Institute of Inorganic Chemistry

The interdisciplinary collaborative research center SFB 985 Functional microgels and microgels is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The SFB brings together research groups from polymer sciences, chemical engineering and life sciences and concentrates on microgels as a group of highly functional macromolecules. In this context, the research group of Dr. Tobias Beck deals with the integration of protein containers into microgel systems for drug release and delivery (see also http://www.ac.rwth-aachen.de/extern/beck/ for the further research topics of the Beck group). We offer a PhD position in this international and interdisciplinary network.
